The Challenge
For the longest time, up-and-coming bands wanting work have needed to network constantly to reach out to people running shows. Many of these young bands struggled with self promotion, relying on social media exposure and gig posters around universities and pubs.
Meanwhile, promoters and venue bookers trawled around social media, BandCamp, and SoundCloud for hours, trying to secure talent for venues and locate relevant bands' contact information.
Gigger set out to disrupt the processes behind the live music industry by empowering it with technology, helping bands to find gigs, promoters to organise shows, and venues to host live music—all in one place.
